Individual Counselling

Individual counselling involves a one-on-one meeting with a therapist and an individual who is seeking support or guidance. During individual counselling sessions, the client will discuss their thoughts, feelings, and concerns in a safe, non-judgmental space.

Individual counselling can cover a wide range of topics including' anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, addiction, trauma, and self-development. The duration of individual counselling can vary depending on the needs of the client, and may involve a few sessions or a more extended course of therapy. We work with any age 13+ to senior years.

Some ways that counselling can help you:

  • It helps to gain a better understanding of your personality, reactions, needs,  behaviours, and thought patterns.

  • It helps to overcome traumatic events

  • It can help to keep negative thoughts under control.

  • It assists with developing healthy coping mechanisms.

  • It can get rid of addiction and self-sabotaging behaviours.

  • It can help to manage the symptoms of mental health disorders.

  • Understand the underlying causes of mental health symptoms.

  • It helps you to make healthier life choices.
